Who we are

Victoria (Russell) Lawrence – Chair

Vicky is a retired construction lawyer; she specialized in dispute resolution and is a qualified arbitrator, adjudicator and mediator. She is Honorary President of the Adjudication Society, and a Trustee of the Worshipful Company of Constructors Charitable Trust (charity number 274573).

Vicky previously volunteered with Glass Door Homeless Charity for over 20 years. She is co-founder and project manager of Sunday Suppers.

Danny Rahim – Deputy Chair

Danny is a highly experienced Mental Health and Performance Coach and is passionate about fostering mental wellbeing and peak performance within the workplace. He is a fully qualified Life Coach, accredited by the EMCC, and has an MSc. in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology. He is a Suicide First Aid Instructor (NCSPET) and an Ambassador of Hope (Ofqual).

During the past five years, he has helped over 1500 clients within 45 organisations achieve their career, relationship, well-being and performance-related goals.

Danny has been part of the Sunday Suppers team from the outset and is a regular volunteer.

Barbara Illingworth – Treasurer

Barbara is an actuary with over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. She is currently working for Legal & General as Head of Matching Adjustment. She is a former Trustee of Friends of St Peter’s.

Barbara volunteered with Glass Door Homeless Charity for several years and is now a regular volunteer with Sunday Suppers.

Rhiannon Sawyer – Safeguarding Lead Trustee

Rhiannon currently works for Hertfordshire Police’s Police and Crime Commissioner as Director of Strategy, which involves setting the strategic direction and delivery priorities for the entire force via the Police and Crime Plan. Prior to this, Rhiannon led around 250 children’s services in England for a major national children’s charity.

Her other directorial roles include Assistant Director of London’s Violence Reduction Unit for the Mayor of London & within the Met and the Deputy Director of the National Policing Vulnerability Knowledge and Practice Programme, overseeing all areas of safeguarding and high harm.

Before this Rhiannon’s career was mainly in the children’s and youth sector in youth centres, schools, PRUs & children’s homes and also in the prison and community-based criminal justice system delivering interventions and safeguarding support to adults, young people and children, specialising in gangs, violence, VAWG, exploitation and addiction.

Rhiannon is also a school governor and a trustee of two London-based youth charities. She has volunteered with Sunday Suppers since the project was founded in 2023.

Juliana Goode

Juliana is a senior Build to Rent and London Living Rent manager at SNG, formerly Network Homes. She is a trustee of Rivercourt Methodist Church.

After volunteering for several years with Glass Door Homeless Charity, she is now a regular volunteer with Sunday Suppers.

Stephen Lawrence

Steve is a retired computer analyst, specializing in the retail sector. He is a trustee and former Treasurer of Rivercourt Methodist Church. Steve previously volunteered with Glass Door Homeless Charity for over 20 years and is co-founder of Sunday Suppers.

Armorel Manasseh

Armorel taught history and geography at a state school in Euston for 12 years.

She then left to do a post graduate diploma in specific learning difficulties (dyslexia) at UCL and qualified as a specialist teacher and assessor. She has supported children on a 1:1 basis in several primary schools since 2015 and has been a delivery partner for the charity AllChild (charity number 1160947) for the last four years.

Armorel has regularly volunteered for the Doorstep Library and Glass Door Homeless Charity and has been part of the Sunday Suppers volunteer team since the start.
